The avenue of national flags outside the United Nations building in Geneva

Subject

Cultural Activities study trips

Some of the best learning happens at the event itself. These trips take students to major international conferences, gatherings, festivals and pilgrimages, and pair each with the heritage of the place that hosts it. Students take part alongside people from other countries, learn how large cultural events are organised and what they mean to the communities behind them, and return with a first-hand view of how traditions are kept alive.

On the trip

What students explore

  • Model United Nations

THIMUN in The Hague and NHSMUN in New York, where students represent countries, debate and draft resolutions.

  • The World Scout Jamboree

Scouts from around the world camp together in Gdańsk, Poland, in 2027.

  • World Youth Day Seoul 2027

A week of faith, community and the heritage of Korea's Catholic community.

  • Scouting in the Swiss Alps

The Kandersteg International Scout Centre, the only official World Scout Centre.
