Overview

The trip

The 26th World Scout Jamboree, hosted by Poland's Scouting association and marking 120 years of Scouting, gathers Scouts from around the world for ten days of camping, adventure, cultural exchange and service.

Participants camp with their units at the Jamboree site on Sobieszewska Island, on the Baltic coast, and meet Scouts from other countries through trips built around leadership, adventure, culture and service. ReadTrips supports a Kenyan contingent with flights, Schengen visa preparation, consent paperwork and chaperone support, and offers a heritage tour before or after the Jamboree: in Gdańsk, the Old Town, the European Solidarity Centre, Westerplatte, where the Second World War began, and the UNESCO-listed Malbork Castle.
