The trip
Shenzhen, Hong Kong and Shanghai are three of China's most advanced technology hubs, and students explore all three on this trip.
In Shenzhen, students explore world-leading innovations in robotics and drone technology at the Shenzhen Science and Technology Museum, and see first-hand how the city's tech-driven culture has been shaped by companies such as DJI, the world's leading drone manufacturer, headquartered here.
In Hong Kong, students visit the Hong Kong Polytechnic University for a scientific exploration session, and experience the city's British-Chinese cultural heritage alongside its own innovation economy.
In Shanghai, students connect the trip's innovation theme to one of China's largest and fastest-growing tech economies.
