Overview

The trip

Three small countries with outsized influence on how the world thinks about welfare, sustainability and peace.

In Copenhagen, students visit Christiansborg, seat of the Danish Parliament, and CopenHill, a waste-to-energy plant with a public ski slope. In Stockholm, the Nobel Prize Museum and the Vasa Museum, home to a 17th-century warship salvaged from the harbour. In Oslo, City Hall, where the Nobel Peace Prize is presented each 10 December, and the Nobel Peace Center.
