Across Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah, students go beyond landmark buildings into the studios and construction sites where they were designed and built. In-depth sessions and workshops with practising architects and engineers show how a concept becomes a structure, from early sketches to the realities of building at extreme scale in a demanding climate. Students also examine the broader story of how rapid national development has shaped architectural ambition in the region.
